Glowing Jellyfish
Aquarium of the Pacific. Long Beach, CA. October 2010.
I love these jellyfish! They are so beautiful. This past week has been so hectic. Earlier in the week, we had construction workers come over and replace our windows. It was so noisy when they were taking out the windows, I thought I would have a panic attack but I didn't. Also, yesterday I went to LACMA with Marcie, Mom, and Marissa to see the new William Eggleston exhibit. Interesting photos. I also went to another grave yard, this one called Forest Lawn.

Sherlock Holmes
Sherlock Holmes Museum, London, England. August 2010.
I took this while I was in London and the museum a wonderful recreation of Sherlock Holmes 221B Baker Street. They reenactments of certain scenes from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's most memorable creation. I love this photo because since today is Halloween, its kind of creepy. Happy Halloween!

London's Big Ben
London, England. August 2010.
I love the architecture in this shot! Beautiful neo-Gothic architecture. Well besides going to school this past week. We've had a severe thunderstorm, I've had to go to the dentist, and I went to see Paranormal Activity 2. I've seen the first one of the Paranormal Activity franchise, and they are both equally creepy and scary. I also went to Julian in San Diego yesterday to take pictures and get some apple pie. Wonderful little town.

Westminster Abbey Lunette
Westminster Abbey, London, England. August 2010.
This past week I had school and on thursday I had to have a critique on two drawings I have done for my drawing class. It was a bit nerve racking but in the end enlightening. Then Friday me, Marissa, Janean, and Mom went to Santa Barbara. It was so fun. Unfortunately it was hot. We went wine tasting, went through old missions with cracked adobe walls, and walked along tiled walkways. It's an absolutely beautiful city with wonderful sea food and beautiful architecture.

Veiled
Chatsworth House, Derbyshire, England, Uk. August 2010.
It's nearing the end of August and I have hardly written in this blog. It has been harder to do this because of schoolwork and energy level in general. Today I saw the Lovely Bones. I love the special effects in the movie. It was beautiful the imagery. Reminded me of my dreams certain parts. Absolutely a beautiful movie!

Man with a Glass Ball
York, England, UK. August 2010.
I love this picture of this man. While we were in York there were loads of these types of people about. There was this one man who was on stilts passing out brochures about York Ghost Walks. I would loved to do that but we were staying in Manchester and that is about a two hour or so drive away. The people in England were so nice. I loved it!

The Shambles
The Shambles, York, England, UK. August 2010.
I loved York it was absolutely lovely! It was historic and beautiful with quirky medieval buildings and small cobblestone lanes. Plus, there were a lot of people as this picture can attest. But I enjoyed England and this week I start a new semester of school tomorrow. It will be mainly art history and drawing. My two favorite subjects. I am being serious. Well I'll get back to you soon. Have a great week until next time!

Window to the Sky
Mission San Juan Capistrano. July 4, 2010.
Out of all the missions I have visited thus far, this mission is still my favorite. It has such beautiful gardens and old architecture. I even like the ruined church. Ruins are a rarity out here in California. I find something fascinating when I go to a place where there has been habitation for hundreds of years and yet is in ruins because of a natural disaster or other that happened hundreds of years ago. When me and my family go to England, which is in two weeks, I will go into places that are even older than the missions here in California. They are just three hundred years old where some of the place over there are five hundred to over thousand years old over there. That will be a new experience.

Spanish Village
Yesterday I had a great day. Early in the day me, Marissa, and Mom went to the Mission San Juan Capistrano to visit Marcie. I took loads of pictures. I love going to the Mission because it is so peaceful and quiet with loads of gardens and great architecture to photograph. Plus, we went over to Los Rios and had a wonderful brunch at the Ramos House Cafe. They make all of their food from locally grown products and they grow their own herbs and make their own ice cream. It was absolutely delicious!

Glittering Flowers
Modjeska Canyon, CA. May 2010. I took this photo while I was on a garden tour that went throughout Orange County. At this house I took many photos, this one was among them. I love how the plants made straight side-angled shapes and the flowers grounding the picture to the right. Plus, I love seeing plants with glistening drops of dew on the plants. It makes everything look so fresh.

Relief
Going to Missions for me can be a peaceful experience. I love going to them and soaking up the atmosphere. Very peaceful and quiet with gardens to stroll through and long walkways to walk along. Feeling the texture of the crumbling adobe walls beneath my fingers takes me back in time in a sense to what it was like back when the Mission was running in its heyday.

Lightened Flowers
Well I am not going to Santa Barbara because I have to work and I forgot to notify my manager. Plus, a fellow co-worker ,who I was trying to get cover the tuesday shift that I was supposed to work on, decided to state that I had not helped her out for three other times. I can only remember one other time that I did not help her. Maybe two but not three. I just needed get that out. Plus, this all doesn't really matter. Hopefully we can get go on and not hold on to past grudges.

Oso Creek Purple Flower
Took this while walking on a trail called Oso Creek Trail. Beautiful! Recently me and my mother were walking on another trail called Harding Truck Trail in Modjeska Canyon and we saw a rattle snake. After we saw the snake and got around it without being harmed: my mom fell and that was scary. Thank goodness she came out alright! It was just scary and reminded me of some bad memories from the past.
