Two Skulls

Last week was pretty normal just school. The night before last we had lightning and thunder which scared Sweetpea and hindered me going to sleep. Plus, Mom is suffering from exhaustion. I am ready for the Spring semester to end. I'm also taking two classes over the summer but at least I'll have a month off before then. See you next time.

Bud of Spring

Another new week, another week probably of weird weather here in not so sunny California. But that's Spring for you. Tomorrow I will have a math exam (yuck!) and continue working on my pastel drawing, in which I finally got out of the drawing faze and into the pastel faze. Yay! Saturday, I saw Aunt Val after about six months of not seeing her. It was nice to see her and eat at El Cholo in Santa Monica. Well see you next week.

In Sepia

Another week I wonder what this week will bring. Yesterday I went to the LA Arboretum and saw beautiful peacocks and peafowl. Absolutely lovely place!

Drawing this Image

"Hungry Lion", August 2010. Tomorrow a new day coming with it drawing this photo for my drawing class. I came back from up north yesterday. I am glad to be home but also saddened about coming back to reality. I loved all the greenery up there compared to the brown desert that encircles around where I live. Well right now its raining and pouring so I can't say that it will be brown yet. Its green right now at least. Well I'll see you next week.

Montezuma Castle

I cannot believe that it has been almost a year since I went with my Mom and my sister to Arizona. I remember going to this place and I couldn't believe high up on the side of the cliff that this place was. Now a year later i will be going up to Oregon to explore the beautiful mountains and see flowing rivers and soaring trees. I am so looking forward to Spring Break!

Snow at Home

I took this last year, but last night I was at home talking with my Mom and all of a sudden it started to rain. Then the sound on the solarium windows changed from rain to what sounded like hail. But it was lighter than hail. Me and Mom went through the garage and stuck our hands out and realized that snow was falling at 1000 feet above sea level in Southern California. In all the years I have lived here we have never had snow fall on our house. This is a very rare occasion. It was still there in the morning but frozen now.

Sequoia National Park, CA. October 2009. Yesterday I went to Claremont with Mom, Marcie, and Georgina. I had a great time, but I felt really tired and a little ill unfortunately.

Big Bear

Big Bear, CA. February 2010.
I went to Big Bear yesterday and it was absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, there was not as much snow as there was last year. I took this picture a year ago. Someday I want to go up to that abandoned house and take pictures of it. That would be so cool!

Saddleback Mountain

I love this shot especially when this area is green. So peaceful. Yesterday, I went to the Ramakrishna Monastery which is near here and it looked very similar to this. Plus, I live near here and see this everyday.

White Flower

I love Georgia O' Keefe's paintings and this one of them I love! Also tomorrow I go back to school starting at 9am. Ugh! But at least it's a drawing class. I'll see you next week.

Three Flights

At least virus in my computer has left. I found out that I had at least 600 viruses infecting my computer. Now, I can't upload photos to my computer. One step at a time. Also this next week will be my finals for the Fall semester at Saddleback College.

Computer Trouble.

I hate my computer right now because this virus keeps popping up and I wish it would go away! Hopefully I will be on more frequently without interruptions. Sorry.

Glowing Jellyfish

I love these jellyfish! They are so beautiful. This past week has been so hectic. Earlier in the week, we had construction workers come over and replace our windows. It was so noisy when they were taking out the windows, I thought I would have a panic attack but I didn't. Also, yesterday I went to LACMA with Marcie, Mom, and Marissa to see the new William Eggleston exhibit. Interesting photos. I also went to another grave yard, this one called Forest Lawn.

I took this while walking through a neighborhood near Belmont Shores in Long Beach called Naples. It is a beautiful neighborhood with canals and bridges and beautiful houses. Plus, many gardens with beautiful flowers and other types of plants.

Sherlock Holmes

I took this while I was in London and the museum a wonderful recreation of Sherlock Holmes 221B Baker Street. They reenactments of certain scenes from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's most memorable creation. I love this photo because since today is Halloween, its kind of creepy. Happy Halloween!
