San Gabriel Hibiscus

I went to the San Gabriel Mission a few weeks ago and took this wonderful shot of this hibiscus flower. I love the detail and color in this photo. Missions are beautiful places with gardens and great architecture.

Two Shadow Flowers

I took this picture a couple days ago at a local trail called Oso Creek Trail. It was a beautiful place with flowers, trees, and plants of all varieties. It was unfortunate to see the amount of pollution that was in the creek though. That was the only down part to the whole experience.

Gypsy Horse

There were so many beautiful horses at this show! I loved this shot when I was editing some of my photos earlier this week. This horse is a Gypsy horse.

Renaissance Festival

This is a beautiful image. I did not take this one, but I did go to the Renaissance Pleasure Faire in Irwindale, CA today. It was great fun with many people dressed up in period attire. Very festive and I highly recommend going to one. I am definitely going back next year!

Butterfly on Cap

This is another image I took while at the Butterfly exhibition. I loved the colors on this particular butterfly. So vibrant!

Blue-Black Butterfly

Tempe, AZ. Arizona Botanical Garden. I love butterflies. When we went to this place they had an exhibition with butterflies that would fly all around you. Some of them liked to land on the ground and I was always afraid of stepping on one of them. Others would land on you. It was an absolutely wonderful experience!

Saraugo Cactus

Arizona Desert Museum. Love the contrast between the green of the cactus and the blue of the sky.

Shining Through

I love these type of pictures where the sun is shining through the leaves and branches. They seem eternal and inspiring for me to keep on moving.

A Red Leaf

Montezuma Castle

Such an aweinspiring place! This place is several hundred or so feet about the pathway that we took to get to this place. It originally housed Native Americans that lived up on the side of cliffs or mountains for defense reasons. One thing I heard from the local tour guides at this place that the women were the one who built this place. Talk about girl power!

Sedona

Took this shot of the famous rocks in Sedona, Arizona. Sedona is such a beautiful place! Beautiful color and light and an amazing landscape.
